Really simply yoga is movement with breath. Each class we explore key area’s of tightness and tension and seek to improve strength, flexibility and mobility to facilitate a spaciousness in body, mind and spirit alongside lasting health benefits.
Preparing for In Person Class:
Book in and pay for class.
Avoid eating a heavy meal an hour or two before class- a light snack is ok .
Wear clothes you are comfortable in - gym clothes, leggings, layers.
Get your kit ready - a mat is all you need, but you might want to bring a blanket, blocks or any other props and a drink of water for after class.
Aim to be at class no more than 10 minutes before the start of class and remember to wear your mask into and out of class.
On entry or exit sign the track and trace forms and give your hands a clean with the sanitiser provided.
I will be around for any questions or discussion on injuries - please do let me know so I can adapt the class to suit you.
NOTE: 2m social distancing is currently in place, together we will find your space for class, please respect this distancing and avoid moving about the room where possible.
Preparing for Live-stream Online Class
When you book into class you should be sent an email containing a zoom invite - please check junk mail and contact me if you do not receive this.
Log into class 10 minutes before class starts - you don’t need to sit on your mat but it could be good to settle in early if home circumstances allow.
You will be admitted to class at start time and can choose to show your video or not.
Pin the Teacher so you have best view and enjoy class.
Note from 6th September we will be blending in person and live-stream - make sure to book into the correct class.
When Not to Come to In Person Class
If you are less than 12 weeks pregnant - we can take pregnant students in class from 12 weeks but recommend a dedicated pregnancy class.
You have an injury that could prevent you taking class.
You have corona virus symptoms - cough, temperature etc or are generally unwell.
You are self isolating or following current Government guidance about staying at home.
