Menopause Yoga

Menopause Yoga is designed to educate, empower and support you to embrace the various stages of your menopause.

It includes yoga sequences, breathing techniques, mudra's and mantra's to support menopause symptoms such as; hot flushes, heated emotions, low mood, anxiety, brain fog and overwhelm as well as an opportunity to tap into your inner wisdom.

There will be an opportunity to share you experience with ladies of a similar age and delve into discussions on topics such as food and nutrition, sleep, hormones, HRT, supplements and herbs.

Yoga in the Park

Come and join me for an hour of fun in the great outdoors. This class is suitable for all levels and includes a gentle warm up, sun salutations, standing postures and guided breathing and meditation.

CLASS IS SCHEDULED SATURDAY 9:30AM WEATHER AND SCHEDULE PERMITTING

 

Yin Yoga

Yin is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures that are held for longer periods of time, typically 2 -3 minutes, sometimes up to 5. It is the perfect way to unwind both the mind and body at the end of the day allowing for a restful sleep. Yin Yoga postures apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body i.e. the tendons, fascia, and ligaments, with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.

In addition to people seeking a calmer, quieter practice, Yin Yoga is an excellent style of yoga to complement more active forms of yoga and sports such as running or cycling. Come along and Yin Out!

Lunar Flow

This workshop includes a moon day flow , breathing, journaling and intention setting around the themes of the new or full moon.

We tap into the magic of the moons natural rhythms and explore the simple lifestyle changes we can make to bring about positive transformation.

 

Managing Stress and Anxiety

This 2 hour workshop is an immersion in all things yoga designed to take you from a place of stress and anxiety to a calm, centred and peaceful place.

The workshop includes a short talk and optional discussion on the body/mind stress response and how yoga helps followed by a yoga practice suitable for all including restorative postures, breathing techniques and a guided relaxation.

Take time to educate yourself about stress, explore your own stress response and leave feeling relaxed, peaceful and spacious with tools to use in your everyday life.
